I have calamity and get a legal representative! immediately i hold this problem...?

hi all
i had coup¨¦ accident 6 months ago and i went for 1 month to chiropractic for injury related problem due to misfortune.
accident was other personage fault.
Hes insurance agreed to pay for everything.
i also get a lawyer who took my case.
immediately, 6 months later, collection company hired from my health insurance company contacted me maxim that they also paid for my medical treatment (accident related)and they want money stern.

i told them to call my lawyer.

Now if i get my lawyer charged my health insurance and other insurance(from other human being involved in accident).

is this possible?
if yes can i be in trouble for this (even if i didnt know anything give or take a few this!).
And why my health insurance contact us after 6 months when case is already closed?

This is call "subrogation" and is normal.

If your medical insurer paid your chiropractor they're entitled to take their money back out of the settlement you received.
