Lawyer crazy after a coup¨¦ quirk?

Is it really necessary? I got surrounded by a car accident this morning within my neighborhood, actually right in front of my house. I pulled to the stop sign and be going to turn right but realized I forgot something, so I just did a u-turn contained by the intersection. I was hit on the driver side, which happened after I made the full u-turn. It be reported as my fault, of course. But the other driver hit and run. I couldnt even get a tag number or a full description. I didnt jump after him, because for one I had an infant in the sports car screaming. Thankfully, neither of us were hurt. So I am not claiming any medical, just collision to find my car fixed. Everyone is telling me to nickname a lawyer. But, I really dont see the point, I am not claiming anything else other than repairs on the saloon.

If no one sustained any injuries or incurred any medical bills, there is really no point within "lawyering up" (unless you intend to fake an injury)...If you have collision insurance, that should fix your coup¨¦...No lawyers needed!
