Would "God made me do it" be a okay defense against a criminal charge?

Answers:
no because God wouldn't make you do anything wrong enough for you to stir to jail and you better not say God made you do it because its simply wrong take your sentence like a man!
How can you confine God and plan to lock him up?
it would be if you claim insanity, because the court will rule you crazy for thinking you hear god talking to you.
No, its be tried before
well if you could prove it without the shadow of a doubt next maybe but i highly doubt that could be expert...
Nope, the scriptures report us to follow man's laws; as long as they don't conflict with His law. Source(s): Holy Bible
It have been successfully used in proving an innocence by grounds of insanity, as recently as 2004 when the Texas jury ruled that Deanna Laney was insane. She have murdered her children when she said God told her to do so, because if they lived to be adults, their sin could have caused them to dance to hell. She is now in a psychiatric facility.
no grounds the devil tells u to kill
They regard "The Devil made me do it " as an insanity plea, so why not the same respect for those audible range the voice of God, just like the "The Son of Sam" slaughterer.
no route! because God tempts no man! the scripture saya.. but satan is real and God give us free will...
only if you're a catholic priest .
Yeah, that's what George Bush does.
That's just the same as pleading insanity. I'm pretty sure at hand are cases that have been tried next to that insanity plea of "God made me do it." I could imagine the verdict when the Judge hits the gavel, "God made me convict you."....LOL
yeah if your trying to plead insanity it's the same as maxim the devil made me do it
No because God is just a vague concept to the permissible system and not an active entity. It would have no more verbs then if one was to blame Santa Claus for their activities.
