Defense Attorney Or A Prosecutor?
I was sexually abused by my mom. The detective wants me to testify to the ill-treat. But he also asked me to testify that she is insane because I'm the only one whose whitnessed her split personality and because she stabs herself contained by the belly every week. I'm really confuessed about if I will be working with a defense attorney or a prosecutor. A defense attorney won't prudence about the abuse because he'd be defending my mom. But the prosecutor won't thought about her being insane because he will be prosecuting her.
Why would you be confused on which side you'd be working? As the complainant, you'd be testifying for the prosecution. If you were, somehow, to be testify for the defense, you'd be subpoenaed by them.
As for testifying about any mental syndrome, that would be pure speculation on your part as you're not considered medically educated to testify on such matter.
