Obligations of defense attorney when defendant wishes to testify and attorney believes them to be guilty?

Answers:
What the attorney believes does not matter. The defendant has a consitutional right to testify if he/she chooses the attorney MUST put him/her on the stand.

If the attorney KNOWS the defendant is purposefully lying to the court later the attorney MUST notify the court in camera. Source(s): attorney
