I Need An Aggressive Divorce Attorney In San Jose Area?
I have filed for divorce but have need of an aggressive attorney as my wife has hired lawyers to "clutch me to the cleaners."

good luck on that. to be honest, that sounds similar to a standard case. she is entitled to half of everything you own. she could hold a good excuse to keep your coup¨¦ and have YOU pay the entire payments until it is compensated off. keep within mind, when looking for an attorney, don't go with the one that tell you what you want to hear, but the one that will prepare you for how bad it could get. i found those attorneys that prepare you, work harder and don't try to BS you. i don't know of an attorney surrounded by your area, but good luck.

She is by LAW entiteld to 1/2 your pension, 1/2 your workers comp and 1/2 your annueity. She is also entitled to1/2 the proceeds from the mart of the house and entitled to the car no matter WHO'S moniker is on it because it is considered a marital asset. That's just how the canon is in California...whether you like it or not. Maybe you should enjoy gotten married and lived in New York...
capably if you owned the house prior to getting married and did not refinance, or borrow against it, then I would assume that the house remains yours, if this is not the case and the 2 of you bought the house together...you may own to buy her half. As far as the car go..just let her hold it, but make sure that the payments get turned over into her identify only. If she was a stay at home wife and have no retirement and so fourth, then I am sure that her lawyers will brawl for her to get 1/2 of your pension and so fourth...otherwise what how will she gross it...if you are retired, then I am sure that she is probably retired as well..you in recent times remember not to sign ANYTHING until you meet with your attorney, and show in a copy of the papers. Give the finance company a call upon in regards to seeing what can be done in the region of having the name changed on the payments....if they can next do it.and you get a receipt from them that say the amt that you have paid until the entitle was changed.
