Can I alter my advocate within the middle of a divorce luggage?
I went to the legal aide department and got a lawyer free of charge. He typed up some divorce papers and file them, then tried to send it to my husband over 2 months ago. He wasn't competent to find him, so it seems like he only gave up. My husband was totally physically abusive. I asked my lawyer if in that is any way I can get a restraining command to keep him away from me. He said he can't cuz it would keep him from seeing the kids too, and that he can't do. I discern like he doesn't want to work at helping me and my children. I don't feel approaching he is completely on my side. Should I just save and get hold of a regular lawyer? And can I even do that? Since we haven't even found my husband yet?
