I own a DUI and I want to become a legal representative. Is it possible?

Answers:
Yes. Disclose it on your affidavit. It may hold up your entrance but it is not a bar to admission. Source(s): 20+ years practicing regulation
Yes. Just make sure you comply next to all provisions of your probation. In many jurisdiction, if it was a first offense and you successfully complete your probation, you can ask the Court to dismiss it from your record. But even if they don't, one DUI should not prevent you from person admitted to the Bar. Now if it was a conviction for import tax evasion or something that indicated poor moral character, you might be in trouble. Or if you have several DUIs, it would indicate a substance abuse problem and it could hurt you. But one DUI should not prevent your admission. Good luck! Source(s): atty
Probably not.
usually whatever body governs lawyer in your area will ask you question about your character earlier they admit you to the bar - you will own to disclose the dui, unless it occurred while you were underneath 18, and any other events that reflect poorly upon you... it's unlikely that alone will be the bar if you bring back into law school (particularly if you gain into a good one) and get through it.
Law have a particularly high incidence of alcoholism, so as long as it is isolated, and you know what you did be wrong and will never do it again, you may even get a bit of sympathy.
