"Have you ever be convicted of a crime"- is a 3 year elderly DWI a yes?
Answers:
Yes, it would be.
depends. was it a misdemeanor? Most DWI's are. You may have plead it down to a lessor, non criminal offense or betrayal of the law, which is NOT a crime. In that case the answer would be no.
You requirement to see exactly what the disposition was. Usually, first time DWI's are plead down to a DWAI (driving while ability impaired) or similar offense.
Get out your court documents and look. It will sometimes say or at least offer the penal law code or VTL code you plead guilty to. Then look it up.
post the info, what state you are in and the tenet you where convicted of and someone on here will find out exactly what it is.
yes, unless the dwi was when you were a minor. Source(s): texan
If you were convicted, the answer is, and other will be YES. If the question was "Have you ever be convicted of a FELONY?", the answer may not be yes. My version is more common on mission applications, but answer the question you were asked.
Yes it is.
A first offense DWI is a misdemeanor crime.

Well, usually the questions on applications ask if you have ever be convicted of a "felony"....not merely a crime.
But if that is the actual question....economically, yes it is a crime.
I recommend lying anyway..if it comes back for you to defend ....explain you thought that be merely a traffic issue, and thus, omitted it from the application.
No I haven't but I estimate DWI is
