DWI, DUI serve please?

2 days ago i got arrested for driving drunk. I refused to blow the breathlizer but the policeman did made me stroll in a straight line and stand on one foot. I spoilt to both so he took me to the city jail. I call my parents and they rate an attorney like a 1000 bucks to free me. Now im looking for another attorney and see what i can do about my luggage.
I know that the police are more strict with driving drunk now and it be really stupid of me to do it. I do not have a bad diary, or done anything bad in times gone by. i go to college and have a duty. im really stressed out now because i dont really do stupid things like this, i basically dedicate to go college and work.
Please if you can assist me with what to get and what to do, some tips, or anything that can minister to me on court, i will really appreciate it. Maybe some classes that i can take. Did refusing to blow the breathlizer a upright idea?.

Please help.
If this happen to you please tell me your story and how you resolved it.
Thanks

Under the Implied Consent Law, refuse to take a chemical test will result within an automatic suspension by the DMV. You agreed to this when you signed for your license. Retain a reliable DUI attorney, and follow his advice.

You don't usually foot a lawyer to get you out. You pay cheque a bail bondsman.. usually 10% of the actual stated bond. So that would mean your bond was $10000? Kind of steep. If it be the case that the lawyer charged $1000 dollars to a moment ago get you out that would be steep as well. Could be that you hold basically already paid for him to represent you within court. So you might look into that before you get a different one.

If you do correct get the best one that you can afford. If your parents balk at the cost remind them that yes you did mess up..... but the potential costs with fines and insurance will be tremendous next. Plus there is all the money that they enjoy spent already. It would be a shame to waste that only for you to hold employment difficulties after graduation. This is no time to skimp on the cash.

My understanding is that within Texas if you refuse the test it is a 90 time suspension. But also that it a fallacy that you admitted guilt resembling in other states. They have unsophisticatedly no evidence so other things that happened could be challenged. If you be not swerving what was the basis for the stop? Were you speaking correctly but simply have no coordination? What proof is there that you be over the limit?

Years ago I did the same as you. I spent deeply double the going rate for an attorney. In the end I was offered a matter.. if I signed a piece of paper saying that I would not sue the state I would be free and clear. But money aside I found out something interesting when I asked the advocate how he managed that.

Turns out he already had everything within order so that if things did not go my bearing he would have me out on appeal in 30 minutes. The prosecutors own to justify time and money spent and an appeal would cost the state more money. With that already in mitt the prosecutors were basically similar to "fine we will deal" as it is easier to slam the next twenty offenders. Something to ponder.
Don't worry roughly it just do everything what you suppose to do but you should never refuse what the police say aloud to you cause it is a big time no no on that one it is always well brought-up to follow there instruction and taking that breathalyzer that is something you should enjoy done and will just listen... next time if they suspended your license for that then go to those Alcoholic Anonymous classes and show it to your attorney so you could achieve your licenses back
The laws and severity of are different surrounded by each state. Your lawyer know the best course of action to take and the possible outcome.
