Options for soldier charged next to DWI contained by germany?
I was found behind the controls of my parked car with engine running. The actual driver, my wife, have temporarily taken a seat in the passenger form to change clothes while i sat on the driver side and turned on engine to turn on the bake. German police parked behind my car and approached me, administered a breathlyzer which be postive. German police took possession of my keys, license and registration and was released on the spot. I be told to pick up documents the next morning. I was intoxicated however I have not driven and was not going to drive. 5 mins after being released the police returned stating they have a witness who saw me driving (whe the witness is unkown at this time). I'm denying his claim. there are missing details to this story but this is the meat of it. what options do i own?

If they go a witness - you can believe the witness will be believed and you one a G.I. ... ummm - you are probably going to counseling for the rest of your stay and possibly the Article 14 and a bunch of other crap.
The military won't help you in this - and your wife will be laugh at ... damn - you should have been contained by the back seat while she be getting undressed and they would have left you completely alone ... after taking a couple cell phone shots to be exact - but; in Germany - sex is like motto ... excuse me - do you trinkense bier??
Best to pay the fine and hope that they won't be so bad on you since you be sitting still.
Certainly you heard that if you run over a chicken in the road - you might as capably commit suicide on the spot - as the cost of the eggs it lays and the chicks that hatch and lay eggs for the next 10 years ... comes out over a million bucks - and THEY WON'T TAKE A BUCKET OF COLNEL SANDERS AS ANY OFFER OF FULL RESTITUTION EITHER.
I feel for you guy - but; reason of it as a life time story you can tell to anyone and they will be glad it wasn't them. Let us adjectives know how it turns out.
