In coup¨¦ stroke of luck, can someone claim bodily injury AFTER mortal denied initial repair claim? Can they sue after?

I was in a coup¨¦ accident. We were at a stop oil lamp. He accelerated when light be about to change, I followed. However he slammed on his brakes and I rear-ended him. He have no damage to his vehicle (according to HIS insurance), but my vehicle has hole from where on earth his hitch hit near my vent. He is NOW claiming bodily injury, everyone is suggesting he's a fraud (his insurance is hinting they don't believe him). If he is denied, can he sue me personally??
Answers:
If his insurance is denying him, he'll have to put a claim thru your insurance and your insurance will cover you up to your maximum amount (provided they believe his story). If your insurance refuse to cover him because they suspect fraud as well, he can come after you. If that happens, you might want to speak beside an attorney.
If he slammed on his brakes because the bedside light was turning red, you should be held responsible for hitting him. You were without a doubt following too close and were going to run a red light. He can sue you and I will be surprised if he doesn't. You don't say-so how long ago this happened but it can take time for injuries to show up after a wreck.
Yes. Anyone can sue anyone else within this country but I wouldn't worry. It's not as easy to collect this sort of suit as it once be...just let your insurance company feel this dork.
you are covered up to the amount you insured yourself for. More afterwards likely it will be settled out of court and once thats done he can't come back and sue you again.
IF HE TRIES TO SUE YOU, HE WILL HAVE TO PROVE EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH HIM AS WELL AS HAVE EVERYTHING DOCUMENTED.

JUST TURN EVERYTHING OVER TO YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY AND THEY WILL HANDLE IT.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THIS, HE IS JUST LOOKING FOR A QUICK BUCK. Source(s): 923
Why did your insurance company deny repairing his vehicle? If you rear ended his vehicle next you are liable. Sometimes injuries surface a day or few after the actual impact. Your insurance company would investigate to determine if the injuries being claimed are indeed relative to the stroke of luck.
If you receive a summons or complaint in the mail from his attorney trying to sue you, notify your insurance company hastily so they can defend you. Source(s): Claims adjuster 5 yrs
If you are insured, he can't sue you one-sidedly. Most likely your insurance will settle with him. Don't verbs about it, that is what insurance is for.
