Do I own to provide a deposition or statement if I am contained by pro per for an auto injury claim?

If I decide to handle my own auto personal injury bag, do I have to provide a statement to the other AT FAULT insurers insurance company? I was an injured passenger within my sister's car and the other person be found to be 100% at fault by their own insurance company. Too, can I file a claim near my sister's insurance and my own insurance? I am not with the same auto insurance mover (it's been about 2-3 months that I switched), but can I still claim next to them? Thanks
Answers:
Yes, you have to provide a statement to the other insurance company. If you were seriously hurt(meaning big medical bills) it is probably not a apt idea to handle it yourself. You should database a claim with the at fault insurance company first and not next to your or your sister's carrier unless a problem develops and your claim is not being settled within a timely fashion(be patient--they will try to drag things out if they think you are desperate for money). Medical bills should not be an issue--it is the pain and suffering that lead to the big hassles. Lost wages and property damage should not be an issue any but beware--they will try to underpay you every which way they can! Good luck!!
