please read my other question before u answer this, is it true what MSDA said going on for lawyers, do they all charge 33% plus expences, i procure all the things she puts as expenses, but what are "expert fees" and they don't have to investigate anything we have to 2 witnesses, and we were in the right and they made US do everything, we did the photocpying and the long distance call WE did that, so they going to get up 6300 dollars for WHAT! filing the shield! do we even need to get a attorney, can we only get a paralegal to file the covering and since we're doing all the work anyway, talk to the insurance company and get hold of all the money that we spend without paying nobody but ourselves.

And, what if the paralegal messes up the paperwork? You don't really have any recourse.
You could see if you can negotiate a settlement with the insurance company (well, your parents, explicitly, unless they sign an authorization form, authorizing you to speak to the insurance company on their behalf. But, if the pain is ongoing and treatment is still being obtain, I would recommend against settling at this point, because it is better to have the issues resolved before attempting to settle the luggage.
And, no, the insurance company isn't going to pay all that money right away...conference take a VERY long time.
