A request for information for a legitimate estate advocate?
I have a condo in Florida bought contained by 2006. In November 2007, I asked the realtor who helped me buy it, rent it out. It was a voiced agreement that she will find me a tenant and she asked me to send the home owners association for authorization to have the condo rented out. I sent her a contract attached to an email for her to sign. She never did. The HOA give her the keys anyway and the tenant moved in December. I found out a month subsequently that the tenant moved in. I asked her for a lease and I got it a few weeks subsequent. Before I even signed the lease, the tenant moved out. Next thing I know, a new tenant be in place. I am still waiting for the lease. I got one check out of al this for a month's rent. What should I do? It is crazy I know and I am still condemning myself for allowing adjectives this to happen without any contract or fully clad lease. Can I have another realtor take over and work this out? Or at this stage a legal representative is in a better position to clear this up?
