A people friend borrowed over $1000 and hasnt rewarded me final even so and ignore my call. What type of legal representative?
I had her sign a paper stating how much will be remunerated back and I signed it also.
Why pay a legal representative? They would charge you more than that 1000 dollars. Go to the courthouse and file a civil suit and take her to court yourself. Bring any supporting documents and sue her, not merely for the thousand dollars, but court costs and lost income from work to go to court.
If you win, her only recourse will be to compensate or file bankruptcy, which will cost her more than what she will owe you.
File a claim..surrounded by Small Claims Court
small claims court, i think its around 25-35 dollars to walk file and they will give you a court date..do it... dont be a rug for anyone..and you can hold a lawyer in small claims court, when i go to sue a landlord i was listen to someone elses case and he had a legal representative...but you do not need one...you get to state your shield,
Go to your local courthouse and file a small claims suit. You might even get invited to appear on Judge Joe Brown, Judge Judy. I file a small claims and they had to pay the amount owed and the file fee. Make sure to bring your evidence with you.
Cases like this typically don't require a lawyer.
You can folder a small claims case against her. It's a very simple process and doesn't cost much (in my nouns, about $75. It varies though.). Be sure and sue her for the cost of file the claim too. Most states allow it to be included.
Don't loan family/friends money ... period. It never ends very well.
Instead, if they ask for money, just give them 10% of it as "a offering to help". This gets you off the hook, you are still a apt friend that helped, and the issue is irrevocably resolved.
"> For $1,000? You don't need a legal representative.
Sue her in small claims court. It's cheap and easy and you can do it yourself.
