Any would be lawyer out near? My ex overpaid his alimony. What should I do?

He's over paid by $200+. I haven't spent it but shouldn't HE be the one to stop it and request a refund?
Answers:
Return it to him - it's not rocket science!!
I would just return it if you KNOW it's an over payment. He thoroughly well may have contacted them to stop the payments, but sometimes you don't other get the brightest bulb in the box when you contact them, and it take a while for them to do something. Depending on what type of person he is, he could sue you for the overpayment's. Especially if you know they are over payments. Then you would have to repay him. It would of late make life easier for everyone to afford it back now.
retrieve it. Duh
Yes and no. Yes he should own caught his mistake but then he is a man and women cant expect us to be perfect adjectives the time. Now you should contact him or whomever and confess the mistake and return the money before you spend it and it comes to bite you in the a.s at a time when you entail the money most. Its the honorable thing to do but then a woman near extra money, well? Source(s): Florida Paralegal with a BS level in Social-Pyschology
Why? Why can't you be honest and convey it back?
be the bigger person and return it to him..
if he over remunerated you why cant you send it back? if the shoe be on the other foot and you are receiving child support from him and he owed you back money you would want him to repay you what he owes you right? so if he over paid give it posterior. adventually they are going to look into that or he is going to bring it to their attention and your going to end up paying back what you owe anyways.
