"> I would suggest a variety of courses (I'm assuming this is your first program and you plan on going to law arts school after this) that you find interesting and that way you can figure out which route you want to be in motion after you figure out what you like and don't similar to. I took a lot of psych courses and law and sprite courses (my major was ruling and justice) as well as social work and computer. The key if you want to travel to law school is to help yourself to courses you enjoy to ensure you do well within them, as grades are very important (I did budge to law school and be admitted with an 89 average and I get into all the schools I applied to). The psych, social work and sociology courses patently will help you if you want to work with victims of crime, and I would also recommend taking at smallest one english course, as you have to be able to write okay as a lawyer. Hope this helps!
I expect you should learn as much general regulation as possible, as many different areas of law overlap, and victims come surrounded by all shapes and sizes - they can be victims of horrible landlords, victims of horrible tenants, victims of excessive contracts, victims of fraud, violence, theft, insurers, medical or other professional negligence, undeserved or unjust treatment by government organization, the police or quasi-governmental bodies, victims of employers, victims of employees, greedy or dishonest spouses or partner on a divorce or separation settlement, victims of parents who won't allow the other parent to see their child for years, victims of bullying, women being trafficked or compelled into prostitution, victims of other harsh regimes claiming refugee status, or facing deportation, victims of terrorist attacks, victims who hold been unjustly accuse and imprisoned, victims of other people's deceipt and deception, victims of insider dealing and company fraud, , and victims whose rightful inheritance have been seized by others, or who were not probably provided for by a will and so forth.

I found the following areas of law helpful, but not set to these areas:

Family Law, Immigration Law, Housing Law, Land Law, Contract Law, Probate and Wills, International Law, Company Law. I also read a lot about psychology and sociology. Source(s): I practised as a solicitor for masses years
