If your sister / daughter be going to marry someone, would you prefer she marry a Doctor, Lawyer, or Other?

Answers:
Of all the things I would want for her...I would want her to be happy.
I would prefer that she marry her equal. Not someone already established and divorced, as she's just finishing school. Someone more equal would start them on equal ground. However, love conquers adjectives. Nonetheless, if she says she loves a Doctor, Lawyer, etc. I would like her to be infallible that she is in love with him and not his prestige, title, or lifestyle. Then, I'll endow with my blessing.
I would prefer her to marry someone that she love and treated her the way she should be treated, a great job is basically a bonus.
Not a lawyer. Or least not unless she be as equally versed in the law herself and how to protect herself. Maybe a physician. How going on for just somebody she loved.
doctor....free check ups!
The man that loves her for who she is and adore her the most regardless of what he does. I mean money does matter (but u dont involve a lawyers/drs income to be happy coz money is temporary happiness) so ultimately if he can provide a roof on manager, feed the kids and be a good father thats adjectives that should matter!
other, I wouldn't ever marry a doctor or lawyer.
i regard as it should be her choice. it is what makes her happy not you or anyone else, after adjectives they are not marrying you. but if she notices that not a soul gets along with him perchance they should look for another.
Lawyer
i would choose a doctor for her but she can marry whom ever she wanted to. it's her life
Whatever made her happy.
the matured saying is that it's just as straightforward to marry a rich man as a poor one but I believe that one should marry someone whom they are compatible and whom which they love. Therefore, ocuppation should not matter. In the end it is not how much money your husband make but how he treats you and what kind of relationship you have.
And, I would hope that the women could support herself next to the career of her choice anyway.
A doctor--then maybe he would be there for emergency!
that is her choice! As long as she's at ease and he treats her with love and respect he can haul waste!
I would prefer her to marry whoever make her happiest. His job wouldn't matter as long as he is honest and apt!
I guess a doctor...but as long as the guy loved her with all his heart and be completely devoted to her...his profession wouldn't matter.
other
As long as its not a legal representative. I am totally against bottom feeders.
Whatever made her happy. Her soulmates profession have nothing to do with the feature of life she will live.

Money is NOT everything.
A real man, is what is important. A man who believes it is 'his' responsibility to transport care of her and to support her. Yes this sounds old fashioned but men are becoming more and more uncaring as time continues. So not a lawyer, just a genuine man.
Not an elitist, an academic, or a wealthy man - of late a responsible, kind, morally uncompromising sort who 'cherishes' the woman he calls his wife. A serene sort who would never degrade her. A respectful sort who loves that she is a woman and his mate. A doctor, a plumber, a dentist, a baker. Who is generous, loving, and who is correct - that is what matters.
A docter would be good, but no lawyer (they are full of ****)
it all sounds good, but valid love between a husband and wife,is first, with out love money wont bring them happiness,or live a long go together.and I'm talking about actual love between husband and wife.
Just as long as he makes her bullish and doesn't mistreat her then his occupation doesn't matter to me.
A pimp or player.
very well, there is a lot of argument in the region of both...of doctor and lawyer, i would have to pick legal representative...doctors are exposed to too many illnesses and diseases, they can be gone very long hours, call in the middle of the night, sued for malpractice (regardless), and they can be basically as full of sh*t as the lawyer...
however, i would rather my daughter marry someone who have ethics, makes money, loves her and will share contained by her happiness...whatever that would be...
an get...mmm
I would prefer her to marry someone she loved.
