Whats the policy in connection with the MA lemon directive if you live surrounded by NH.?

I sold my truck the other day and the kid who bought it is trying to say that its second-hand goods. It is a problem that I disclosed to him before the sale more than once and even have posted in the ad on craigslist. I live contained by NH but the transaction happened in MA. He said his advocate told him it applies to MA laws because the purchase happened contained by MA. Is there any truth to this?
