MA Lemon Law: Can I somehow attain a reimbursement?
I bought a used car (VW Jetta, $8,000) on Monday, July 16th and I had an instantaneous problem with the check engine light. Long story short, I've brought the coup¨¦ back twice, and though it was supposedly fixed and have run well since I got it vertebrae on Friday, today the same thing happen. I have to bring it back tomorrow to be fixed again. In insert, my rear brakes are junk. It did, however, pass by inspection. What rights do I have? Is there any style I can get a refund for a used vehicle? What does it take to get one? It have 60,000 miles and I've only added about 250.

If my memory serves me, MA has automatic warranties base on the mileage of the car. Keep after the dealer.
Anyway, it sounds similar to a faulty O2 sensor. Are you tightening up your gas cap? I am a used coup¨¦ dealer, my experience with VW lead me to believe they are absolute junk. Little problems that are going to drive you crazy contained by the long run.

Ask the peddler to switch you to a better unit. The Lemom Law does not apply to USED vehicles, one and only New ones. Good luck.
THERE IS NO LEMON LAW ON USED CARS IN ANY STATE. You can't get a compensation. It's yours.
Your brakes couldn't be junk if they passed inspection now, could they?
Maybe you involve to take a breath. The car, by your own permission, runs well. Thats a far cry from a lemon, isn't it? It's only a restrained...let the dealer find the problem and fix it.
