Lemon law?
I bought a car from and indiana dealer surrounded by Nov 07, I was driving it today 1-30-08 and the engine blew. The car have 68,000 miles on it when i bought it, it now has 74,000. I want to know what if anything I can do. The sports car did not have a warranty.

Go to yahoo and type lemon imperative and the state you live in and you will get results of attorneys who work next to lemon law. Many don't charge you to talk beside them as they are eager to find clients.
Listen to hey there response. I do know that nearby lemon laws out there that apply to used cars as capably. Here in Ill. the dealer have 30 days from date of sale as long as there is no warranty. It may differ for other states so check the network.

some states do have lemon laws, they do here contained by pa. i guess you bought the car (as is) didnt you?, if you did, ewe, i dont know, but i think they get you. in other words, its your baby. they put that on the thesis to protect them, so you cant come back on them, in other words, you be screwed.sorry for my language!

if its a used car, there are no lemon law there.
The only recourse you would have is if the contractor sold it to you with a warranty. The Lemon Law covers new cars single.
It's your car, so there's plenty you can do.
First, you can learn how to transport care of a car, and swot to fix cars, or at least make friends near somebody that likes cars a lot. Such a individual could give you advice. For instance, when you voice "the engine blew" that doesn't mean anything to anybody. We have no thought what you're talking about, because you own no idea what you're talking just about.
Second, you can fix it and probably drive it another 10 years or so. If you knew what was wrong near it, we might have a discussion about that, but so far you don't. Be sure to integer out what you can do to make it last a long time after it's fixed.
Hopefully it's something that's graceful to fix. Most things are.
