Is within a lemon statute for a home?

Answers:
No at hand isn't - but here are a few things you can still do.

If it is an older home - you had to own written very specific repairs into the paperwork that the previous owners were responsible for. That is why MOST race have the home inspected as a condition of the sale - if it doesn't intervene the inspection or if there are a lot of "red flags" you are not required to complete the sale contract. If there isn't anything in your paperwork - you are responsible for the repairs on your own.

If it is a brand foreign home - it should still be under warranty for at least 6 months. It really depends on what is wrong next to it. If there are already cracks in the walls consequently it is an issue with the builder - I would discuss it with your agent that you bought the home through. Same if it is a plumbing problem or electrical problem.

If it have to do with an appliance (stove, fridge, water kiln, AC) all of those items have individual businessman warrantees. Talk direclty with them.

Good Luck!
Depends on the circumstances. If the home is brand new, you can sue the builder for full damages/repairs.
If the home is not different, and you didnt have it inspected, you are out of luck. If you did have it inspected, and your inspector missed stuff, you can hold the inspector liable for repairs. Source(s): 5 years mortgage broker
