How can I bring Pennsylvania sale import tax that I payed on a motor vehicle after I received a lemon tenet discount on?
Long story short . I purchased a motor vehicle in May and for the whole six months I never get the title for it because the dealer was to laid-back to bother sending it in (that's another long story not worth explaining) . Now as of last month I received a full return from the manufacturer for the base price I payed for it minus the sale tax and related fees. I call the dealer and asked him to refund my sale tax and he's a real prick immediately that I reported him to the manufacturer for installing used parts and doing faulty work. He say that the Lemon law/ breach of warranty Buy back non disclosure contract that I signed to get my compensation settles the dispute and that I'm not entitled to have my sale tax back. I call Pennsylvania department of revenue and the've assured me that this isn't true and that in any case that you've payed sale tax on an item that was subsequent refunded to you that I have the right to appeal to enjoy sales tax returned. They want me to hold the dealer fill out the "appeal form " so they can confer him the tax back and return it to me but he refuse to talk to me because I blew the whistle about his shady busness to the Better Busness beuro. Also have never recieved a title for the vehical Penndot has informed me that they don't even have any info on the title since he never sent it contained by and they can't tell me if the sales due was even paid to them . I asked him when he salaried it and he just hangs up on me. What can I do ? Department of revenue say that they will give me the money if they have it but if he hasn't sent it surrounded by and keep it I'd have to gain "legal counsel" aka lawyer and getting legal representative for 186$ sales tax lately isn't worth it.I demanded that he refund me for the notary title fee to and he said he would discount me the title fee in the amount of 25 dollars but not the notary because he read out he notarized it even thou he never sent the title paper work to penndot.He really dishonest and he lost his Kawasaki franchise because so many population reported him to the manufacture for doing bad powered work and being rude to customers. I think he kept the sale tax but he wont offer me any documentation that he did pay packet it even thou he says he did send it contained by but he simply can't be trusted at all he's lied so much.I think he have pocketed the money but neither penndot nor the Department of revenue seems to be concerned so much with dealer pocketing money that owed to the customer so much as they are people pocketing money that's owed to them!

You own your receipts that show what you paid for tax, so you furnish that to the judge and show the proof of what you got pay for so far...you win, without a lawyer, too!
