We bought a used coup¨¦ surrounded by the state of Texas & it's discouraging...is at hand a lemon ruling?

"AS-IS" means simply that. You buy the car in the condition it is surrounded by, with no warranty of any kind. Did you enjoy the car checked out by your own mechanic prior to purchase? If not. why not? Source(s): 27 years in the auto business
Did the street trader give you a 30 day guarantee or a guarantee of any form ?

Texas, I don't know their lemon laws or whether the lemon laws cover used cars.

Looks impossible. How much are you out ? If the car were a salvage sports car from a flood or whatever and they did not tell you, you enjoy a chance.

Lemon law are written for new cars only.

For a purchase of a used vehicle, you inevitability to purchase your own protection/warranty.

If you purchased the car, as is, then you'll just get the car as is. Sorry.
