Pa lemon regulation ?

hi , my friend bought a car privately owned and the guy she bought it from told her that the car solitary needed new spark plugs and brakes how ever it has more problems that what he told her . she salaried him with a check from the bank . so i want to know if the Pennsylvania lemon canon would still apply to her ? is there any thing she can do ?
