Workmans comp personal injury california?

On Thursday I slipped and fell flat on my back at work. The floor in the kitchen is other so wet and greasy,I can't tell you how several times I've almost slipped.I went to the emergency room and got xrays, adjectives they said is nothing was broken but conspicuously I'm still jacked up.They said I could return to work on Monday. Here's where I have to establish whether or not I should seek compensation. The owner is a thrifty old German man who doesn't spend a penny on anything! He's rich beyond compare and have the $$$ to buy rubber floor mats to prevent all of us from slipping but he won't do it.Instead he throws starched aprons which are slippery themselves and pieces of cardboard that are only just as slippery. When his wife called me on Friday morning to see if I was going to work on Friday dark I told her I was given off till Monday. She slipped and told me that the robustness dept has been after them to put contained by those mats(her husband would die if he knew she told me).On another occasion he have told me about a former employee who have slipped and broken her hip when she fell, can you believe this! How hard would it be to get documents from the vigour dept noting how long ago they were asked to put contained by mats and can we get history of that lady who fell?I know it's not easy to receive $$$ from workmans comp, and if nothings broken but I still hurt is this even worth it? I hope you read

See a chiropractor as soon as you can get hold of an appt.
They will have names of a couple attnys that do comp injury claims.
I be advised to do this a year ago when I was injured and it be the best thing I've ever done.
I advised my friend to d this when she be injured but she believed her employer wouldn't screw her....yeah right!
She got nothing contained by the way of compensation and she wasn't able to work for amost 7 months.
I settlement with workmans comp claims here at my company. If you are hurt on the job, the first entry to do is report it to your supervisor or manager. You have to report it as "work relatein seventh heaven;, and you then fill out a Workmans comp form. Someone at your company should be responsible for sending your worker comp company the information. Worker comp will payment for your doctors apts, and if the doctor gives you a note to right to be heard you cant work, worker comp will pay that. No employees at my company own had problems getting money from worker comp. But if your company is "self insured", then you dont enjoy a worker comp carrier, and the company owner would pay the bills.
