Personal Injury or Products Liability? (Air Bag)?

I am a consumer and was severely injured by a GM air backpack. Do I file a personal injury lawsuit against GM in federal court or do I profile a products liability case, again in feed cour? Also, is there a way to report in state court even tho the defendant is in another state? This is going to be a hot topic for the subsequent couple of days since I waited til the 11th hour to file. I hold until Friday, March 16, 2007 to file something in some court to start the globe rolling and to stop the statute from tolling (March 18 will be two years). Thanks.

You don't give too many details. Did you wear form belts? The airbag is a supplemental safety device only intended to work properly when form belts are worn. Airbags are meant to prevent serious injury in complex speed condition, but they can cause injuries in their own right. Lastly airbags stipulation room to open all the sanctuary stickers tell you you need to sit going on for 8 inches or more away from the steering wheel.
If you can prove that you followed all the safekeeping procedures and the airbag malfunctioned you may have a casing.
They were installed in vehicle by force by the government . they are the ones that mandated that nouns bags be installed in adjectives vehicles after a certain date.
There hold been numerous attempts at suits but I can't think of one that compensated off.
